Terms of Service

Last updated: August 25, 2026

These Terms of Service explain the rules for using StackPath Downloader. Please read them carefully before using our website or tools.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (the Terms) govern your access to and use of StackPath Downloader, including our website at stackpathcdn.com and the tools, features, and content we provide (together, the Service). By visiting the website or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.

2. Description of the Service

StackPath Downloader is a free, web-based tool that helps users save publicly accessible media, including videos, photos, Reels, and Stories, from supported social media platforms such as Instagram. To use the Service, a user pastes a public content link into our tool, and our system attempts to retrieve and prepare the associated media for download.

The Service does not require account registration, and we do not ask users to log in to Instagram or any other third-party platform to access core downloading features.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are a minor under the law that applies in your location, you may only use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. License to Use the Service

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Service for your own lawful, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include any right to resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service, or to copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the Service itself.

5. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree that you will not:

  • Use the Service to access, download, or distribute content in a way that infringes any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other right of a third party
  • Use bots, scripts, crawlers, or other automated means to access the Service at scale, bypass rate limits, or place excessive load on our systems
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its infrastructure, or any related account or system
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying source code of the Service
  • Use the Service to harass, defame, impersonate, or otherwise harm another person
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service or the servers or networks connected to it
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law

6. Third-Party Content and Copyright

Media accessible through the Service is created and published by third parties on their respective platforms. StackPath Downloader does not create, own, host, or control this content, and we make no claim of ownership over anything downloaded through the Service.

You are solely responsible for making sure you have the right to download, store, and use any content you access through the Service. The Service is intended to help you save your own content, content you have permission to use, or content that is otherwise available to you for lawful personal use, such as offline viewing of publicly shared media.

We do not review, verify, or endorse the legality of individual links submitted to the Service, and we are not responsible for how downloaded content is subsequently used.

7. Copyright Complaints

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. Because the Service retrieves media directly from the source platform at the time of a request rather than storing a permanent library of third-party content, the most effective way to remove infringing content is usually to report it directly to the platform where it was originally published.

If you believe content made available through the Service infringes your copyright and would like to bring this to our attention, you may contact us through our Contact page with a description of the content and its location. We will review reports in good faith and may restrict access to a reported link where appropriate.

8. Our Intellectual Property

The StackPath Downloader name, logo, website design, and underlying software are the property of StackPath Downloader or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license described above, these Terms do not grant you any right to use our name, branding, or website design without our prior written permission.

9. No Affiliation with Instagram or Meta

StackPath Downloader is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or operated by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Instagram and any other third-party trademarks, names, and logos referenced on our website remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe the platforms our Service is compatible with.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that every link submitted will successfully process. Because the Service depends on third-party platforms we do not control, availability, quality, and format of downloads may change without notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StackPath Downloader and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, goodwill, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Because the Service is offered free of charge, our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StackPath Downloader, its operators, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any right of a third party.

13. Service Availability and Modifications

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, including in response to changes on the third-party platforms we support. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

14. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by StackPath Downloader. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms.

15. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what limited information we collect and how it is used. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service or for legal or operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms, so we encourage you to review this page from time to time.

17. Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the Service in a way that could harm us, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the Service at any time, since no account or registration is required.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

19. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and StackPath Downloader regarding the Service and replace any earlier agreements on the same subject.
